Walden status update

September 14, 2020

The Walden site had been mis-reported as working but offline.  The status is actually working, but not for local-local communication.  It is linked into the system, but in simplex mode only, so not useful for talking to other repeaters, just not for two people in/near Walden.

Repeater Status Page Update

September 14, 2020

The repeater status page has been update to include explicit links for coverage and details for each repeater site.  Some sites have more information than others!

Microwave link to Glenwood and Grand Junction having issues now

September 10, 2020

Our microwave link west to Glenwood and Grand Junction is having issues too.  We are using the cell modem backup link which works, but not well.  A trip is planned for Sunday to get the microwave link restored.

COS offline due to weather

September 8, 2020

Colorado Springs is offline.  The cause appears to be icing on the microwave antenna, so expectation is that it will remain offline until things warm up, hopefully by Thursday.

System Back up

August 22, 2020

Big thanks to Mark N7CTM and Ben KC2VJW!!  The system was only down for a few hours Thursday night before being restored.  They trecked up the hill by foot to get to the site and were able to affect repairs in one trip.

Entire System Unlinked

August 21, 2020

A failure at the Thorodin site has the entire system unlinked.  A team is actually heading up this evening with a backup team getting queued up for tomorrow if we are not able to fix it in one trip.

CCRI Flyer error corrected

August 16, 2020

Oops!  We had a frequency error for the Breckenridge repeater in our flyer you can download from the About Us page.  It has been corrected.  If you downloaded that flyer, please get the latest copy.  Thanks for catching this Bob!

Grand Junction Back Online

June 26, 2020

Our western slope folks fixed the repeater.  It was locked up likely due to a lightning strike.

Colorado Springs Back Online!

June 16, 2020

We were able to organize a quick trip to the Almagre site and were able to effect repairs in a single trip.  COS is linked again.

Colorado Springs Offline

June 15, 2020

We lost the link radio at Almagre which is how the Colorado Springs repeater gets into the rest of the Colorado Connection.  A work party is getting organized, so hopefully won’t be down long.
