With regret, Amazon is discontinuing this program. It was great while it lasted and thanks to the folk that signed us up for their charity. We got about $800 in donations for the run of the program.

Even good and new solar panels and batteries have their limits! We’ve had 7 days of no sunshine at that site and need to disable the repeater to protect the batteries until we get a few days of sunshine to recharge them. The Fort Collins repeater appears to be having receive sensitivity issues again. This is a know issue, but seems to have become worse recently. The long term fix is a second remote received-only site which is on our to do list.
We have our newest repeater site, Burlington, CO. This extends our I-70 coverage to almost the Kansas state line! It uses the same frequency as Colorado Springs (145.130MHz), but is far enough away from that repeater to not cause any interference.
