The 145.310 Mhz repeater may reside at the top of Wolf Creek Pass The elevation of the site is 12,000 feet. Coverage from this site will be east into the San Luis Valley, west to Yellow Jacket, south into New Mexico and north into the San Juan Mountains.
The repeater is a GE MasterII with a 20 foot commerchial type fiberglass antenna cut for it's frequency. The controller is a Link Communications RLC-1. A GE Custom MVP UHF transceiver links through an eleven element yagi to the Salida repeater.
The repeater has been in operation from this site since mid Summer 2002 and will be a relay point for the Durango repeater.
