Repeater Status - See The REPEATERS link on opening page for current information.

UPDATED 07/09/2005

We'll try to keep this page updated frequently. If you'd like to report a problem with the system, just send an E-Mail to N5EHP.

THE RIFLE REPEATER (146.985) HAS BEEN PERMANENTLY REMOVED FROM THE SYSTEM DUE TO HIGH MAINTENANCE COST AND MINIMAL USAGE. LOOK FOR IMPROVED COVERAGE FROM GLENWOOD SPRINGS (146.850) IN THAT AREA.

Craig (147.270) and Steamboat (449.625)
These two repeaters are operated by the Northwest Colorado Amateur Radio Association (NCARA). We don't maintain status reports for them, but both are very reliable. For more information, visit the NCARA website. Use the Back button on your browser to return to the Connection.

San Juan Mountains - Under Construction
Repeater sites near Durango, Silverton, are in the planning and construction phase. Until a site comes online to which Durango can link, a repeater in the Durango area will continue to be unavailable. After three years of hard work, it looks like a repeater site near Wolf Creek Pass is on hold indefinitely. As soon as a repeater site is available and online in Montrose, our Silverton site will go online. The San Juan Mountains are the most rugged in the state. Coverage for this area continues to be a challenge.
